Hello Friends ~
I hope your journey with the Psalms has been providing you with some meaningful moments of reflection.
Perhaps you have been dipping in and out when you have a bit of time. Perhaps you’re fitting a little Psalm-pondering into your weekly routine. Perhaps you haven’t quite gotten around to doing it ~ if so, that’s perfectly fine!
In any case, I wanted to share some news ~ the journal is now available in paperback format on Amazon! I had a bit of a thrill when I opened the package and felt it in my hands. I’ve never made a book before!
It’s almost exactly the same as the ebook version you have, except that there’s a blank page to write or draw on as you listen to each song.
Regardless of how far you’ve come with the journal, I was wondering if you could do me a favor.
Apparently, reviews are necessary for people to find a book on Amazon. If someone was searching for, say, “Psalms journal,” this particular journal without any reviews would be FAR behind in the queue. Someone would have to scroll through pages and pages of Psalms Journal possibilities before this one would even show up.
So, reviews make a difference. And since you are the very first people to know what’s inside these pages, I was wondering if you might be willing to write a review of the Psalms for the Spirit journal on Amazon.
Here’s the link to the paperback journal, and if you scroll down toward the bottom, you’ll find a place where you can leave a customer review (you will need to be an Amazon customer to do this).
You don’t need to purchase the book to review it. You can do it anonymously. You could spend as little as 30 seconds on it, or you could give a more thoughtful or thorough review.
I realize it’s Holy Week and some of you MIGHT have a few other things on your plate… I’ll send another note about it in a future email. But I did want to share my excitement that the paperback is now available, and if you happen to not have a million things on your to-do list right now, perhaps you could take a moment to leave that review. I would be very grateful!
Also, feel free to respond to this email if you’d like to give me any feedback on it directly ~ constructive feedback welcome, proofreaders! The nice thing about publishing on Amazon is that you can make corrections at any time. And if you have any issues with trying to submit a review, let me know as well. Thank you so much!
Thank you also for being the very first to journey the Psalms with me in this way, and once there’s a window of time, I’ll invite you to an online gathering to share our insights together.
Blessings this Holy Week,
Kiran
Psalms for the Spirit is a wonderful collection of songs and guided reflections that give the reader and journal writer an opportunity to more fully appreciate the gift that the psalms are for us on our Spiritual journey. There are spaces in which to write guided by Kiran's very helpful questions and blank spaces in which to draw or write a poem or prayer. I recommend this publication for its valuable content and further recommend your listening to the beautiful singing.
